W H Auden: A Centenary Celebration
Wystan Hugh Auden was born at 54 Bootham, down behind the art gallery on the way out of York, on 21 February 1907. The Uni are putting on a conference to celebrate the centenary, and I was asked to design a flier.
You can see it here. It’ll be interesting to see what Keston Sutherland has to say about him—I wouldn’t associate hims work with Auden, but there’s a buzz about it that I suppose is comparable to the wunderkindness of the young W.H.
