The English Constitution

I learned about postcodes today:

SW1A 2AA = 10 Downing Street
SW1A 1AA = Buckingham Palace
SW1A 0AA = Palace of Westminster

To say that the English have an unwritten constitution is to accept far too narrow an understanding of the nature of the text; it doesn’t take into account the the subtlety of the inscription….
